11+ Delicious Gluten Free Granola Bars and Granola for Healthy Snacking
*Some of the brands mentioned in this post sent me samples of their products to review and consider for editorial coverage, but I only share products I really love and all opinions and photographs (unless other credit is given) are my own*
Who else needs allllll the healthy gluten free snacks now that the holidays are over and work is back in full swing? I know I do, so I wanted to share 11+ gluten free granola bars, protein bars and granolas that I’ve been loving lately!
I’ve shared posts with my favorite gluten free granola bars and gluten free granolas before, and you can find those links at the bottom of this post. But in this round-up, I’m sharing 11+ NEW (to me) gluten free bar and granola brands.
Whether you need keto granola bars, paleo granola or gluten free protein bars, I promise this list has a yummy option for you to try. So let’s get started!
Gluten Free Granola Bars and Protein Bars
Gluten Free Granola Bars, # 1: Autumn’s Gold Grain Free Granola Bars
If you’re looking for a gluten free bar that is similar to the crumbly Nature’s Path granola bars, here’s a delicious option! These bars are the perfect mix of crunchy with just a bit of chew factor. And since they’re not super sticky, they’re extra easy to eat while on-the-go.
Plus, besides being gluten free, Autumn’s Gold bars are paleo, grain free, soy free, non-GMO and they use kosher dairy. And if you become really obsessed with Autumn Gold (like I have), they also sell gain free granola as well!
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #2: Honey Bunchies Energy Bars
I was lucky enough to win a box of Honey Bunchies energy bars on Instagram to sample, and when I say they are addictive, I’m not kidding!! As suggested by the name, Honey Bunchies are made mostly of honey, along with sunflower seeds, pecans and peanuts. This creates a super chewy but crunchy texture that’s sweet and a little salty at the same time.
If you like eating gluten free energy bars for dessert, like I often do, Honey Bunchies are a delicious option! And along with being gluten free, they are grain free and soy free as well.
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #3: Munk Pack Keto Granola Bars
If you’re looking for a traditional “granola bar” texture without any oats, I highly recommend Munk Pack’s relatively new keto granola bars! They come in four yummy flavors (I think Maple Pecan and Almond Butter Cocoa Chips are my personal favorites) and have a soft, chewy texture with just a little crunch.
Since these bars are keto, they are also low carb and have 2 grams of net carbs and only 1 gram of sugar. Not to mention they’re certified gluten free, plant-based and grain free as well. I wouldn’t consider these the most “crave-able” bars out of this list, but they are very convenient and tasty!
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #4: Unite Gluten Free Protein Bars
I tried Unite Protein Bars for the first time thanks to my monthly gluten free Love with Food subscription box, and I immediately fell in love with their internationally-inspired flavors of Churro, Mexican Hot Chocolate and PB & Jelly. Churro has been my favorite so far, and I love that this is a gluten free AND dairy free protein bar.
I’d describe the textures of these bars as SUPER thick and chewy, so if you avoid sticky candies due to fillings, etc., these probably aren’t the best gluten free snack bars for you. But I love that they taste sweet without being sugary and more like dessert than a protein-packed snack!
FYI: two of the flavors (Churro and PB & Jelly) are dairy free and soy free, while the Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor is not.
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #5: LivBar Energy Bars
Superfood lovers, here’s the perfect gluten free energy bar for you! LivBars come in five superfood-packed flavors like Lemongrass Cherry Matcha and Raspberry Kale Maca. They are very dense and have a chewy texture studded with crunchy nuts and seeds.
I really appreciate the unique flavors of LivBars and the fact that they are all free of gluten (obviously), dairy, corn, soy, and GMOs. They are also nut free (besides coconut) so nearly anyone can enjoy! Ginger Lemon Turmeric and Lemongrass Cherry Matcha are also vegan, though the other flavors of their gluten free bars contain honey.
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #6: Bearded Brothers Food Bars
Bearded Brothers are another gluten free energy bar with a dense, chewy texture broken up by crunchy chunks of nuts and seeds. Their energy bars come in seven yummy flavors, like Coconut Mango and Almond Butter Chocolate. If you’re looking for gluten free snack bars for kids, Bearded Brothers have kids bars in flavors like Cookie Dough too.
Besides their flavors, I love that Bearded Brothers prioritizes using real food ingredients sourced mainly from US farmers. Their energy bars are also certified gluten free, vegan, paleo, organic, and free of added sugars.
Gluten Free Granola Bars, #7: Navitas Organics’ Power Snacks
Now, this is cheating a little since these power snacks are technically bites and not bars. But they’re such delicious gluten free snacks, I had to include them!
Navitas Organics’ Power Snacks come in square-shaped bites made of ingredients like dates, nuts, seeds and superfood powders. They have the perfect combination of a chewy and crunchy texture, and some of my favorite flavors include Chocolate Cacao and Cacao Goji.
And Navitas Organics are not only certified gluten free, but also organic, non-GMO and vegan.
Gluten Free Granola Mixes with Grain Free, Keto and Paleo Options
And in case you didn’t get enough gluten free healthy snack inspiration already, here are some delicious gluten free granolas to try this year too!
Healthy Gluten Free Granolas, #1: Bakery on Main Granola
Bakery on Main is a relatively popular brand in the gluten free community, but I didn’t get around to actually trying their oat-free granola until last year. (Again, thanks to Love with Food).
Their gluten free granola features crisps made of corn, brown rice, ancient grains (teff and millet) and navy beans. Mixed with nuts and seeds, their gluten free granolas come in traditional flavors like Walnut Raisin Apple and Cranberry Almond Maple. If you love lightly sweetened granola with a lot of crunch and a little dried fruit, Bakery on Main is a sure winner!
Their granolas are also certified gluten free, non-GMO and kosher. And while I haven't tried them myself, Bakery on Main does have Grain Free Clusters if you're looking for grain free granola.
Healthy Gluten Free Granolas, #2: Lil Bucks Clusterbucks
If there’s one new gluten free granola I’ve been INSANELY obsessed with the last few weeks, it’s Lil Bucks. Their Clusterbucks consist mainly of sprouted buckwheat - which despite the name, is gluten and wheat free! Their Clusterbucks feature crunchy clusters of buckwheat groats and other superfood ingredients like cacao and turmeric. The buckwheat tastes super light crunchy and I was pleasantly surprised that the turmeric flavor is not too overwhelming.
Along with being gluten free (though not certified gluten free yet - their website mentions hoping to make that happen in 2021), Lil Bucks are paleo. And I can’t not mention that Lil Bucks is a proudly women-run company as well!
Healthy Gluten Free Granola, #3: Taos Bakes Bites and Granola
One cool fact about Taos Bakes is that they not only have gluten free granola, but also gluten free bars and bites. Their gluten free granola does contain oats, so I haven’t tried it personally. BUT I have devoured their gluten free bites (which I’d consider a kind of mix between crumbly bars and chewy granola) and loved the sweet but not sugary taste and the soft, chewy texture. And you can’t go wrong with flavors like Dark Chocolate Almond and Toasted Coconut with Vanilla Bean.
If you are interested in trying Taos Bakes’ bars as well, they are super yummy and come in equally classic flavors like Pecan Praline with Maple Syrup. Some of the bars do contain gluten free oats, while others don’t, so be sure to check the ingredients if each flavor as needed! All their snacks are certified gluten free, though, and they do have vegan options.
Healthy Gluten Free Granolas, #4: Square Root Nutnola
One of the newest gluten free granolas I’ve gotten to try is Square Root’s “Nutnola.” The creator has celiac disease and wanted to create a grain free granola she could enjoy...and I say, thank you for that!
Their nutnola is super crunchy and a bit more like trail mix than the clustery granola I’m used to. But I love combo of crunchy nuts and seeds and chewy dried fruit in classic flavors like Maple Cinnamon, Lemon Blueberry and Chocolate Cherry Chia. Plus, they blend their Nutnola into Nutnola butter...which is just as creamy and addictive as it sounds.
Not to mention Square Root’s products are Certified Gluten Free, grain free, paleo, dairy free, vegan, refined sugar free, and non-GMO.
Healthy Gluten Free Granola 5: Lark Ellen Farm Grain Free Granola Bites
Last but not least, I recently got to try Lark Ellen Farm’s Grain Free Granola Bites. If you like crunchy granola, this is a super tasty option! Plus they come in tons of different flavors - including holiday versions - like Gingerbread, Cacao Cherry, and Vanilla Cinnamon. And if granola isn’t enough to satisfy your gluten free snacking, Lark Ellen Farms also has grain free cereal and trail mix.
Besides being gluten free, Lark Ellen Farms also has paleo, keto, vegan, low carb and sugar free options.
Gluten Free Energy Bars and Granola: The Bottom Line
If you’re looking for gluten free snacks to power you through the new year, I hope this list gives you some new ideas of yummy gluten free bars and granolas to check out! As always, I’d recommend checking out each company’s website and/or contacting them with any questions about their ingredients or manufacturing procedures to make sure their products fit your dietary needs.
